Functional Description: The Claims Adjudicator is responsible for the timely, accurate, and consistent review, analysis, and adjudication of Pratt & Whitney warranty claims. This role ensures claims are assessed in accordance with applicable warranty policies, Power-by-the-Hour (PPH) program contracts, commercial agreements, and technical publications. The Claims Adjudicator plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of warranty programs while ensuring customers receive fair and compliant claim settlements. Success in this position requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, the capability to interpret complex technical documentation, and a solid understanding of commercial warranty offerings and contractual obligations.
What You Will Do
Warranty Claim Review & Adjudication Review and adjudicate warranty claims in accordance with company warranty policies, PPH program contracts, commercial agreements, and applicable procedures. Evaluate claim documentation, maintenance records, invoices, and supporting evidence to determine warranty eligibility and claim validity. Verify claim compliance with contractual obligations, warranty coverage, technical requirements, and customer agreements. Calculate and authorize accurate claim settlements while ensuring financial accuracy and consistency. Document claim decisions clearly and maintain complete records to support audit requirements and future reference. Ensures KPIs are adhered to. Technical Analysis & Compliance Interpret and apply technical publications including maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering documentation, component manuals, and other OEM technical references. Assess technical findings and maintenance actions to determine whether repairs or replacements meet warranty requirements. Commercial & Contract Interpretation Interpret and apply commercial warranty terms, PPH contracts, customer-specific agreements, and service offerings during claim evaluation. Identify contractual inconsistencies or areas requiring clarification and escalate as appropriate. Investigation & Trend Analysis Support the investigation of claim discrepancies, unusual claim activity, and recurring issues to determine underlying causes. Support the identification of trends in warranty claims that may indicate product reliability concerns, process deficiencies, customer maintenance practices, or
