Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking two (2) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Communications Technicians to work with the Water and Wastewater SCADA Infrastructure. These positions will provide 24-hour technical support and maintenance of data communications between field sites and the Operations Control Center. This is a core system that monitors and controls the transmission, treatment, distribution and water quality of the regional water supply serving about 1.6 million people, acts to ensure the operability of automated wastewater pump stations, combined sewer overflow (CSO) instrumentation, rain gauge sites, and instrumentation monitoring critical data from key areas throughout the entire SPU Line of Business. These positions are represented by L77-IT-IBEW.
