Committed to creating the highest quality product for some of the world's most beloved, iconic franchises - think ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, ‘Paw Patrol’, ‘Nickelodeon’, ‘Top Gun’, ‘Star Trek’, ‘South Park’, ‘SpongeBob’ and many more!       We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced product Licensing professional to join our Consumer Products team based in Sydney. This is a permanent full-time role available now.     What is the role?      The Softlines Licensing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and safeguarding brand integrity by developing and executing licensing strategies for our well-loved and diverse brand portfolio. The role oversees licensee partnerships, identifies new business opportunities, and ensures our brands achieve maximum impact across multiple categories.       What are some of the key responsibilities?

Supporting the day-to-day co-ordination of Softline’s licensing programs to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth, working with the Director of ANZ to meet long-term growth plans    Lead all aspects of licensees and partner relationships, ensuring adherence to brand standards and contractual requirements.    Negotiate licensing agreements and renewals in collaboration with legal and finance teams.    Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.    Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure strategic alignment and facilitate the exchange of best practices.    Monitor and report on competitive activity, including performance metrics, forecasts, and market analysis.    Support marketing and retail activation initiatives to strengthen brand visibility    Collaborate with internal teams to improve franchise support and ensure licensees actively participate in key themes and promotional events.    Lead annual business reviews and quarterly revenue forecasting by collecting and analyzing budget and sales data from licensees and developing actionable response plans.    Identify, develop and implement new business initiatives    Oversee the day-to-day relationships with key buyers and retailers in the Australian market    Prepare commercial presentations, meeting materials, reports and sales analysis.

What are we looking for in a Softlines Licensing Manager? What’s important?

Demonstrated experience in negotiating and structuring licensing deals, ideally from a similar consumer category  Comprehensive knowledge of the industry, and established retail relationships in the ANZ market   Solid financial acumen with the ability to synthesize and assess data    Exemplary sales, negotiation, and communication skills    People-oriented and able to lead or contribute to diverse teams    Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, along with significant influence/negotiation skills with senior-level executives    Creative and entrepreneurial approach to business partnerships  Ability to think strategically with a flair for negotiation, with a familiarity with the Australian retail and e-commerce landscape    Highly organized, collaborative self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities,
