The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Troubleshoot and repair factory machinery, electrical and mechanical, pneumatic systems. Correct and/or improve existing production processes and equipment. Collaborate with engineers and technical staff on process improvements and plant changes. Operate simple test equipment, including, but not limited to: Multi-meter, tape measure, dial indicators, measurement tools. Move machinery, including rigging and utility connections. Fabricate equipment as needed, including cutting, welding, grinding. Troubleshoot PLC programs and machine controllers. Manage PM work order system and daily maintenance workload.    Ensure that proper safety procedures are used in maintaining and repairing of production equipment. Foster Safety program to continually improve safety practices. Monitor and communicate on equipment repairs with operations, engineering and staff level employees. Comfortable with computer usage, email, Microsoft word, excel and project. Track and report on metrics for schedule attainment, machine downtime and WPO.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.   REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
