Job Summary
As the Product Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will report to the Director of Quality and Reliability (Q&R). You will lead multiple quality engineering projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will also work with development engineers to ensure the proliferation of Design For Reliability (DFR) methods into our stream of new product developments. You will complete the reliability analysis for new products and plan the reliability validation tests.
Major Responsibilities
Drives 8D and FA projects towards successful implementation of solutions. Evaluates, from a reliability standpoint, the materials, properties, and techniques used in design and manufacturing by AMAT and AMAT's suppliers. Performs FMECA and works with supplier and development engineers to enable CRAMS test plans. Leads Part Qualification Process (PQP) at supplier sites. Troubleshoot, analyze non-conformance and failure rate data using advanced business analytics to focus and prioritize the Q&R projects and prepare management reports. Reviews Engineering Change Requests for their impact on Quality and Reliability (Q&R).
