Position

Description : Directs test strategy, automation design, integration testing, and regression execution to ensure complete coverage and application release readiness. Oversees Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, deployment processes, defect management, and production support activities to ensure operational stability. Makes technology and delivery decisions based on long-term assessments of trends, risks, architectural considerations, and business impact. Enhances line-of-business technology processes by introducing innovative software engineering, quality engineering, and automation solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and delivery outcomes. Provides technical analysis, strategic recommendations, and consultation to functional and divisional leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

Provides leadership, direction, and oversight to multiple engineering and technology teams supporting concurrent initiatives. Identifies required technical and organizational capabilities and develops strategies to address skill, process, and platform gaps. Manages complex, cross-functional initiatives by exercising influence, advanced technical communication, and stakeholder collaboration. Allocates, monitors, and optimizes resources across projects to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Leads Agile delivery activities including requirement analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and release coordination. Defines and enforces engineering, testing, security, performance, and quality standards. Coordinates integration and performance testing efforts across dependent systems and teams. Analyzes delivery metrics, risks, and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with governance, audit, and operational requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Manages, mentors, and develops senior engineers and technical leaders. Mentors engineers and technical leaders by providing guidance, design feedback, and professional development aligned with technology roadmaps. Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Participates in Agile ceremonies and knowledge-sharing forums to promote transparency and alignment. Communicates technical progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and business stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Technology Management - Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) architecting and testing high‑frequency cognitive ecosystems with CI/CD pipelines across cross‑platform stacks in FinTech financial services. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Technology Management - Software Engineering (or closely related occupation) architecting and testing high‑frequency cognitive ecosystems with CI/CD pipelines across cross‑platform stacks in FinTech financial services. Skills and Knowledge : Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) architecting a core cross-platform framework using diverse technology stacks to eliminate selector fragility in dynamic FinTech systems; and applying complex UI and algorithm calculations for reconciliation, fees, and tax transactions, to reduce maintenance overhead and development time while enabling self-healing automation scripts and ensuring execution stability in a rapid-release environment.
