About this role

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google .

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maximize the value of Google’s global energy contracts (PPAs, wholesale supply agreements, and utility tariffs) while ensuring all performance metrics and compliance requirements are met. Identify, design, and deploy AI solutions, custom automation, and scripting to streamline contract ingestion, automate performance tracking, and scale portfolio operations globally. Synthesize large datasets of complex operational, market, and financial data into clear, compelling narratives and visual presentations that deliver actionable strategic insights back to the business. Own and automate energy portfolios spend tracking, budgeting, and analysis to clearly communicate drivers of energy spend variance at scale. Interpret, analyze, and independently resolve complex issues arising during contract lifecycles, including market operations, regulatory changes, billing disputes, and majeure events.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. 2 years of experience in wholesale electricity markets, utility tariffs, or power purchase agreements in multiple regions. Preferred qualifications: Experience building SQL based queries, creating dashboards and reports, and converting data into insightful actionable information. Proven track record of using artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), or scripting to automate repetitive workflows, build tooling, and drive operational efficiency. Strong collaborative program management skills with experience managing complex, global projects that require inputs from cross-functional partners (e.g., legal, tax, finance, engineering). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical operational data into high-level business insights for executive audiences.
