Division Information PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to other PACCAR divisions across the world. The Role PACCAR is looking for a curious, creative, and motivated individual that is passionate about information technology, with a special interest in learning about Enterprise Scale Cloud Services. During your internship with PACCAR, you’ll have the opportunity to explore new technologies, work with technical teams, and possibly lead projects. Our internship program is designed to give you real world experience and develop skills to help you succeed. Job Responsibilities & Projects Projects may include:
Deployment of Cloud services to multi-cloud environments using DevOps methodologies Instrumentation of deployments to enable networking and containerized workload. Cloud operations improvements.
Required Experience & Skills Minimum Technical Qualifications
Experience coding in a minimum of one of the following Programming languages: Python, Typescript, Rust Experience with shell script bash or Powershell. Understanding of with GitHub and CI/CD automation Understanding of Cloud or distributed Computing concepts Familiar with networking concepts
Preferred Technical Qualifications
Experience working with any Cloud Computing providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) highly desired Experience developing and deploying containerized workloads is highly desired Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, pulumi, bash) Understanding of distributed systems and the three pillars – Scalability, Reliability, and Performance

The salaries for intern positions are as follows
Undergraduate Enrollment - $25 / hour Graduate Enrollment - $30 / hour
