The Role
The Manager, Site Engagement and Feasibility leads the execution of feasibility and site engagement strategies for assigned studies. This role works cross-functionally to ensure timely and informed site selection, startup planning, and site communication. The Manager also oversees vendor delivery and site performance metrics to deliver high-quality trial execution. Here’s What You’ll Do: Strategic Site Engagement & Support Serve as primary liaison for assigned key partner sites and investigators Lead trial-specific site engagement and communication activities for assigned studies. Deploy trial-specific site communications, training materials, and engagement assets. Champion the use and continuous improvement of innovative tools and strategies to enhance and optimize sponsor-site partnership and ways of working. Support regionally appropriate site-facing activities and ways of working, as applicable. Represent Moderna in site interactions to build investigator relationships. Feasibility Leadership & Start-Up Integration Lead site feasibility assessments and contribute to country/site selection strategy for assigned trials. Oversee the development, distribution and interpretation of feasibility questionnaires in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Compile internal/external data to inform feasibility planning. Site-Centric Operations & Oversight Prepare site performance and startup readiness metrics to inform risk assessments and corrective action planning. Monitor vendor performance for feasibility and engagement deliverables, escalating risks or issues to Associate Director as needed. Contribute to a site-centric, innovative team culture. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility strategies are integrated across assigned trials. Report feasibility progress and issues to relevant stakeholders. Contribute to process optimization and site engagement and feasibility planning activities. Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree in a health-related field preferred. A minimum of 6 years of clinical research experience, with specific focus in site feasibility, site engagement, or study startup. Proven ability to manage projects and vendors in a clinical research setting. Experience interpreting historical data, site metrics, and enrollment projections to guide enrollment strategies. Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills. Proficiency with clinical systems and tools, including clinical trial management systems, feasibility platforms and MS Office Suite. Ability to travel up to 20%.
