The Experience The Data and Financial Reporting Analyst supports the Data, Analytics and Reporting team within the Prospect-to-Cash Operations organization. This role delivers business intelligence and data solutions to the Credit and Collections function, crafting accurate, clear data stories that drive scale, efficiency, and effectiveness in support of Salesforce's Operating Cash Flow. What You'll Actually Be Doing Owns recurring financial and business reporting for the America Credit and Collections function, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and scorecards built in Tableau, Snowflake, and Salesforce, while maintaining data quality and integrity across the portfolio Delivers ad-hoc analysis and strategic support to business leaders, including workforce planning, growth-trend forecasting, and guidance on where to focus to hit performance targets Drives high-impact process improvement and automation projects end-to-end, from framework design and metric definition through executive reporting, partnering with Operations, Data Engineering, and Business Systems teams to eliminate manual bottlenecks Creates and presents executive-level presentations and reporting that translate complex data into clear data stories with actionable recommendations You're Our Person If... You have 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance and Strategy, Accounting, Operations, or Business Consulting You have hands-on experience with advanced Excel, SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Tableau CRM You can explore & apply new Salesforce and Data/AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to accelerate and solve data, reporting, & business problems You have experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and both technical and non-technical audiences and experience with enterprise software systems such as Oracle, Concur, Workday, Salesforce, or Coupa Even Better If... You have experience with additional data management tools or languages such as Python, Tableau Prep, or Alteryx You can demonstrates the ability to dissect and solve problems with a fact-based, data-driven, and creative approach, while managing multiple high-visibility projects and deadlines with urgency and ownership You have experience with process optimization, transformation, or automation, including AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, Slackbot, Apromore, or Copilot, for workflow automation or analysis You have familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, including experience as a SOX control owner and familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
