Job Title Accounting Intern Job Purpose: To gain real world experience and exposure to the private accounting sector by supporting many different departments, helping them carry out their business transactions and projects.

Will focus on assignments within one of the following areas: Cost Accounting General Accounting Internal Audit Tax Required Qualifications: Must graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028 and major in Accounting and/or Finance with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a major GPA of 3.3 preferred Possess strong analytical and communication skills Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace. Co-ops may be available depending on our business needs. The co-op program duration is typically 6-8 months and can run from early January through early August OR late May through early December. Hours This is a temporary, full-time, hourly position. Interns can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week and may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Location(s) This is an on-site position based out of our corporate headquarters in Austin, MN. Hormel Foods does not currently offer remote internship opportunities.
