JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. The position of Occupational Health Data Entry Representative is within EScreen located in the Philippines. The role is responsible for performing review, validation and data entry of occupational health services (including but not limited to physicals, vaccine administration records, PPD test results, titer results, vision tests and audiograms) in a timely and accurate manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the type of medical document/services and accurately enter patient demographics on the system based on the paperwork received. Review and validate documents received based on the requirement guidelines. Clearly notate and communicate all missing information if the documents received are incomplete. Perform end to end process from assessment up to follow up with the clinic through email and calls for the missing requirements/information needed if documents received is incomplete. Accurately complete event/service based on the disposition provided on the documents received. Complying with Data Integrity and Security Policies: Adhere to data integrity and security policies, maintain confidentiality of information safeguarding patients and company. (HIPAA) Work closely with team to obtain necessary data and to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Ensure to meet the handling time per transaction to meet KPI especially SLA. Quality control: Conduct routine quality control checks to ensure that all data entered meets the required standards of accuracy and completeness. Continuous Improvement: Continually seek to improved processes and systems to enhance efficiency and data quality. Consistently meet productivity and quality expectations. Other duties as assigned (Cross training with another department) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION: Completed at least 2 years in college or with an associate or bachelor’s Degree Preferably with health account background with basic knowledge on medical terminology but not required. Candidate will also possess a typing speed of at least 60 wpm.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong attention to detail. Must be flexible to work on any shift schedule - Philippine Standard Time. Must be amenable to work on Overtime or during Rest Days when business requests for additional (paid) hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and think outside the box Must be flexible with an openness to learn with exceptional problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies.
