Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Technician Calibration - Maintenance 3rd shift role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: Execute calibration maintenance of electrical meters, line speed, footage meters, all process equipment, and other instruments included in Mylan Technologies, Inc. calibration program. Follow appropriate procedures when equipment fails to meet calibration criteria. This includes standard reverse traceability to determine all affected equipment and data. Document all calibration data in the Computerized Calibration Management System (CCMS) and enters new records into the system as required. Performs peer reviews of calibration records completed by other Technicians. Make recommendations and/or corrective actions when equipment fails to meet calibration criteria . Maintain schedules and records for all equipment which is calibrated , and sets up CCMS records for new/revised instruments. Coordinate with Owning Department to facilitate completion of work in a timely fashion and ensures it conforms with specifications. Clean up equipment and work area after performing calibration functions. Provides training to other Technicians based on experience and skill level. Provides guidance to junior level Technicians for skills development. Research new instruments, contractors, and calibration equipment. Ensures standardization whenever possible. Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Maintenance Department. The minimum qualifications for this role are: Technical degree/certification and two (2) years of experience is preferred. Minimum of High School diploma and five (5) years of experience in a technical field is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must possess knowledge of power hand tools, hand tools, and test instruments for calibration. Must possess knowledge of plant machinery and equipment, replacement parts, plastic, copper, and steel piping. Must possess knowledge of personal computers , word processing, spreadsheets and calibration software . Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $37,000 - $80,000.
