About this role
About the Team
Enterprise Marketing helps the world’s largest organizations understand, adopt, and scale AI. Our Executive Engagement programs bring OpenAI’s products, research, and perspective into the room with senior leaders as they consider how intelligence can be put to work against their most important priorities. These engagements are more than briefings or events. At their best, they help a leadership team understand what is changing, distinguish what is possible now from what is still emerging, and leave with greater clarity about what to do next.
About the Role
We are looking for an Executive Programs Lead, Americas to build and lead the portfolio through which OpenAI engages its most important customers and executives across the region. You will own the regional strategy, team, and quality bar for Executive Briefings and a broader portfolio of C-suite engagements, recurring executive forums, advisory programs, and proven formats ready to scale. Your mandate is to turn high-stakes customer moments into a durable business capability, one that consistently advances important relationships while preserving the judgment and customization that exceptional executive experiences require. This is a senior people-leadership role for a builder who can set direction, make disciplined portfolio choices, and create the systems and team required to deliver at scale. You will partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Research, Solutions, Customer Success, Events, and OpenAI executives, moving comfortably between long-term design and the critical details of a live engagement. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid model of three days in the office each week and offer relocation assistance. Given the customer-facing nature of the role, regular in-person participation in executive briefings and related preparation is expected and may require additional time onsite. Travel across the Americas and occasional global travel are also expected. In this role, you will: Own the Americas portfolio of recurring executive-engagement programs and the regional capability that supports them, setting its strategy, priorities, investments, and measures of success. Lead and develop the regional team responsible for program strategy, operations, and delivery, creating clear ownership and an unusually high standard of execution. Translate enterprise and regional priorities into a focused portfolio, including where executive engagement can materially advance an important customer relationship or business outcome. Build an operating model that enables consistent quality and responsible scale while preserving the judgment required to determine what should be repeatable and what should remain bespoke. Ensure priority programs bring together the right customer context, narrative, speakers, demos, experience, and follow-through. Partner with Sales leadership and customer-facing teams to connect each engagement to meaningful customer objectives, decisions, and next steps. Establish measures that connect customer insight, relationship progress, business results, experience quality, and operational health. Manage regional resources, budget, vendors, and capacity with discipline, making clear tradeoffs and surfacing risks early. Represent the Americas in global planning and help successful approaches travel across regions while preserving what needs to remain locally owned. You might thrive in this role if you: Have 10+ years of experience building or leading executive programs, customer engagement, enterprise marketing, experience centers, field marketing, or a comparable enterprise capability. Have led and developed a high-performing team with accountability for a visible portfolio, not only individual programs. Have built or transformed a high-touch customer capability, moving it from reactive or heavily bespoke delivery toward a more strategic and scalable model. Bring strong commercial judgment and credibility with senior
