Job Ref ID: JR0084472 YOUR MISSION As an International Tax Lead, you'll support global tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions while driving strategic initiatives that directly impact our international operations. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to shape tax operations through cross-functional leadership, optimize processes, and provide critical guidance to international teams while building valuable relationships with global stakeholders and external advisors. THE JOURNEY Manage global international tax matters and provide expert international tax advisory to support strategic business initiatives, and cross-border operations. Drive VAT projects and advisory, taking ownership of technical initiatives triggered by evolving legislative changes or new business models. Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance financial and tax operations. Manage the global tax controversy and audit strategy, partnering closely with local finance teams to navigate tax authority inquiries, build robust defense strategies, and drive optimal resolutions. Serve as a strategic tax business partner, delivering actionable operational guidance and support to cross-functional teams. Proactively identify and mitigate global tax risks while maximizing structural and operational tax opportunities for Glovo Collaborate closely with the Tax Compliance team to ensure seamless alignment between tax advisory, operational execution, and reporting. Optimize end-to-end tax processes through continuous improvement initiatives and technological enablement. Partner with global tax teams on ongoing activities and strategic projects. Build and maintain robust stakeholder relationships, including the effective management of external tax advisors. Support in setting team objectives and monitor progress toward operational goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE 8+ years of international tax experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments. Big Four or top-tier law firm background required. Corporate tax department experience is a strong plus. Advanced problem-solving skills with a results-driven, get-things-done attitude. Exceptional project ownership and accountability for deliverables. Strong multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Adaptability and efficiency in dynamic, fast-changing environments. Self-motivated and ambitious with natural curiosity and drive for excellence.
