Provides information to respond to ad-hoc business requests. Updates quarterly scorecards and business/function CIP status. Track business metrics and performance. Gathers and interprets estimated and actual monthly results for the business, function, region, or location. Creates comparative profitability studies and analyses. Tracks business performance metrics that can be incorporated into reports summarizing target and actual financial performance outcomes. Prepares special analyses, such as those related to manufacturing, costing, and overheads. Participates in the implementation of new reporting systems. Analyzes business performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement opportunities, where appropriate. Assists in reviewing cash flow statements and forecasts with management. Participates in implementation of new reporting systems. Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region. Competencies Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting Knowledge of financial modeling through spreadsheet analysis Knowledge of Cabot’s reporting systems Accuracy/Attention to detail Proven ability to manage and develop budgets Ability to gather, analyze and draw well-reasoned conclusions Ability to analyze and manage business plans Ability and knowledge in financial reporting PC skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes, MS Project, etc) Japanese proficiency at JLPT N1 level or equivalent (CEFR C1 or higher). Business-level English communication skills (CEFR B2 or higher). Strong analytical and logical thinking skills. Effective communication skills.

University degree in Finance or Accounting. Post-graduate degree/ specialization preferred. Minimum five years experience in a manufacturing or industrial organization.
