Provide support to a select group within the CFO organization including Treasury, Asset Management, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, M&A/Strategy, and Segment Finance. Potential assignments within the CFO rotational internship include: Assist in the development of financial models that forecast and evaluate financial performance of prospective organic investment projects, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate financings, tax considerations, and long-range corporate budgets Assist in the planning and execution of capital markets and financing transactions (debt, equity, equity-linked securities, and interest rate derivatives) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis Assist in the execution of merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions (corporate and asset) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis Assist in the development of presentations for internal (senior management, risk and other internal committees) and external use (investors, rating agencies, strategic partners) Participate in meetings with internal and external partners Perform market, industry, and company specific research Perform additional duties as requested or assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Demonstrable interest in finance and a desire to gain practical finance experience No experience in energy or related industries is required Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data Excellent quantitative skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications especially Excel Education Requirements
Must be a student in pursuit of a bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2028 or 2029 Must have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, either overall or within major Test Description
