Job Summary
While in this role, the ideal candidate will provide guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis used in the execution of the Military Engines Programs. The candidate will become an integral part of the F135 Production program management team, providing analysis and recommendations utilizing Earned Value tools and methodology.
What You Will Do
Support proper implementation of EVMS and project management tools and processes through coordination with and guidance to the technical areas as they develop, plan, and analyze tasks. Provide project management guidance to the program team to ensure adherence to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines. Perform risk assessments and what-if analysis associated with task budgeting and program performance. Actively support monthly program Estimate-at-Complete reviews and Monthly/Annual Program Review preparation activities. Support on-going compliance reviews and periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Review). Strict attention to detail and internal and external customer satisfaction focus is required to ensure the team meets aggressive demands of military compliance programs.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience; or an Advanced Degree. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a minimum of 2+ years of analytical and trending skills.
Qualifications
We Prefer: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration. Earned Value experience and analytical problem-solving skills with knowledge of specific project management and enterprise tools (i.e. SAP, Primavera, webevm, Empower). General understanding of and openness to continuous improvement principles. Demonstrated effectiveness working across functions, organizations, and various levels of management with strong written and oral communication skills. Comfortable executing under pressure in a dynamic environment with the ability to focus on results to drive tasks to completion.
