What You Will Do
During the Summer 2027 internship, you will gain exposure to multiple aspects of the Treating business, including business development, commercial operations, engineering, construction, and project management. Key learning opportunities include: Develop an understanding of the relationships between natural gas producers, midstream operators, and pipeline companies that require treating and processing solutions. Learn how treating and processing equipment helps customers meet gas quality specifications and optimize revenue streams. Assist in identifying and evaluating market opportunities in emerging exploration and production plays, including competitive market analysis. Support the development of prospecting and lead-generation strategies to identify and attract new customers. Participate in project economic evaluations and proposal development to address customer needs. Gain insight into equipment fabrication processes, inventory planning, and project execution strategies. Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, and business development teams on ongoing projects and initiatives. Contribute ideas for new products, service offerings, and business growth opportunities. Track and maintain commercial performance metrics and assist with weekly reporting activities. Work closely with senior leadership, including the Manager of Construction, Manager of Engineering, VP of Business Development, and VP of Engineering & Operations. What You Need Education Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related discipline), or a comparable field. Entering junior or senior year of college at the time of the internship. Students classified as seniors must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later to be eligible. Experience and Skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while following direction and meeting established work schedules. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines across various functional areas. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and build relationships across all levels of an organization. Leadership potential demonstrated through academic, extracurricular, or professional experiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred.
