As our Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while delivering strategic initiatives that support business growth and customer success .

What You Will Do

Lead and develop a high-performing team of 20+ engineers, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to support both individual and business success. Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing processes are designed, implemented, and continuously improved. Oversee the design and optimisation of facility processes across logistics, assembly, test, and paint operations to improve productivity and operational performance. Champion quality excellence by implementing robust defect prevention strategies, supporting root cause corrective actions (RCCA), error-proofing initiatives, and improving First Test Pass performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility, customer, business, and community initiatives while ensuring engineering resources are effectively allocated to key priorities. Lead line balance and capacity planning activities through the S&OP cycle, ensuring operations meet changing demand while achieving cost, efficiency, and throughput targets. Manage engineering budgets and resources, including a team budget of approximately $2M, operational workforce planning for 200+ employees, and annual capital investment programmes valued between $2M and $5M. Develop and execute engineering strategies that support continuous improvement, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives. What You Will Have Degree Requirement bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Technical Excellence : Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Level Extensive Experience: Significant experience leading engineering teams within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong engineering and commercial understanding of manufacturing operations, product development, process optimisation, quality systems, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
