Join our Team About the role Join Ericsson Antenna Systems in Rosenheim as a Project Portfolio Manager and help shape the future of our R&D portfolio. You will create transparency across projects, balance resources and budgets, and support decisions that align investments with business and technology priorities. Working with engineering, project management, product management, finance, and senior leadership, you will drive portfolio governance, planning, performance management, and financial steering across R&D. Your work will help the organization focus on the right priorities while improving execution and long-term impact.
What you will do
Lead strategic and operational portfolio management across product, technology, maintenance, and innovation projects. Develop and improve processes for portfolio planning, prioritization, resource and capacity planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Facilitate portfolio reviews and governance forums, preparing decision proposals, business analyses, and management presentations. Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs, dashboards, and reporting, turning complex data into clear recommendations. Identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and resource constraints, and support effective mitigation plans. Prepare financial analyses, business planning assumptions, and investment recommendations for portfolio decisions. Collaborate across functions to align business objectives, project execution, and organizational priorities.
What you will bring
A master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Several years of experience in project or portfolio management, program management, strategic planning, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into actionable insights. Experience with resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, business cases, and performance management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence working with senior stakeholders. A structured, data-driven, and collaborative approach, with the ability to influence across functions and organizations. Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage. Why join Ericsson?
