About the Position We have an excellent opportunity available for a Tax Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz Turkey. The Tax Manager lies within the Finance Controlling & Accounting team and is based in our Istanbul (Akmerkez) Office. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Head of Financial Controlling. In brief, you will be responsible for: Oversee tax compliance obligations and follow up tax compliance responsibilities Responsible for CIT, VAT, WHT, stamp duty declarations and filings in coordination with finance teams and tax advisors Follow up changes in local and international tax legislation, Identify the risks or uncertain issues, suggest on the possible resolutions and timely communications with the local Finance teams and other teams Manage all Tax audits (external, internal audit); coordinate tax audits Optimize tax compliance procedures and processes to mitigate tax risks and improve efficiency in coordination with finance teams Collaborate with the finance team on workflow and tax queries,and participate in the monthly closing procedure. Provide oversight of local aspects of the quarterly and year-end tax provision Act as the local center of tax expertise for business and provide support to other functions to ensure compliance with the local tax requirements E-ledger submission Responsible for VAT refund process Investment Incentive Certificate Process follow up Transfer Pricing Report preparation in coordination with local/global tax advisors What you bring: Minimum 3 years of tax audit experience in Big4 is must 7+ years of tax and accounting experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or reputable accounting/audit companies Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics / Finance / Business with a focus on Accounting/Tax Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax legislation and practice Advanced in English Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Qualified professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA and other industry-recognized qualifications Experience in the food manufacturing and agro-trading industry is preferred SAP Knowledge is preferred USGAAP Knowledge is preferred About Us The Kraft Heinz Company is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with eight $1 billion+ brands and global sales of approximately $25 billion.
