AECOM’s Water Infrastructure group is growing and we are currently seeking an engaging and collaborative Director to join our South-East Queensland team. This role will give you the opportunity to network across various areas of the business and with our leading specialists in Australia and New Zealand and globally, building your professional profile and carving a career pathway that will make a difference. How you’ll make a difference Mentor and develop team members, building team capability and fostering a culture of learning and innovation Wastewater treatment plant design – design systems for both liquid and solid waste streams. Get involved in optioneering studies, concept design, and detailed design. Collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders within multidisciplinary teams while building and managing client relationships.

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. The qualities that help you thrive Engineering degree (essential); CPEng and/or RPEQ qualifications are highly regarded. Ideally, 12+ years of experience in wastewater treatment at a senior or technical leadership level. Comprehensive understanding of treatment processes, plant design, and ANZ regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communicator with a client-centric, people-first approach. Committed to delivering high-quality work, mentoring and collaboration.
