Role

Overview We are looking for an organized and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to support warehouse operations, material flow, and inventory accuracy. You will handle receiving, shipping, transfers, reconciliations, and inventory records while working closely with technicians, project coordinators, office staff, and the centralized dispatcher.

Key Responsibilities

Receive purchase orders for service and process incoming material accurately. Ship and receive material daily while keeping the warehouse organized and maintaining shipping and receipts logs. Execute procedures for receipts, issues, and transfers of materials. Receive materials in ACE and process transfers to sub-inventories, other districts, or job costing. Notify project coordinators when job cost materials arrive. Reconcile material from job cost and customer credit returns. Coordinate RMA requests and credit returns for excess, warranty, or repair material. Order job-specific forms and support material needs as required. Maintain inventory integrity and support the material coordinator. Help investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, and documentation issues. How You Will Do It Own the accuracy of every receipt, issue, and transfer with accountability, safety, and integrity. Stay close to the warehouse and service teams so you can identify constraints early and remove obstacles before they affect field work. Use careful reconciliation, clear records, and steady follow-through to improve inventory flow and reduce discrepancies every day. Work as one team with technicians, project coordinators, office staff, and the centralized dispatcher, sharing information openly and valuing different perspectives. Keep ACE, logs, and material records current so the team can make fast, informed decisions. Approach each day with a practical mindset, strong organization, and a commitment to dependable service.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-5 years of purchasing or inventory experience. Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and the ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with technicians, office staff, and a centralized dispatcher. Excellent computer and mathematical skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Ability to pass a drug and background check. Ability to lift up to 70 lb. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26-$35 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
