Job Summary

The Analyst, Trade Compliance, supports the Senior Advisors, Trade Compliance, who administer the Company’s trade compliance policies and serve as the primary contacts for the Import and Export Compliance Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) across Supply Chain, Commercial, and the business units. Reporting to the Lead Counsel, Import and Trade Compliance, the Analyst, Trade Compliance will take day-to-day direction from both Senior Advisors, Trade Compliance, one supporting import activities and one supporting export activities. The Analyst will work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, Supply Chain, vendors and suppliers, and outside trade advisors, and will serve as the internal liaison for routine documentation needs arising from import and export transactions. The Analyst, Trade Compliance will support functional audits and monitoring, track remediation and corrective actions, prepare compliance reporting, and coordinate documentation that evidences compliant cross-border transactions.

Position

Overview Your Key Responsibilities may include: SPOC Network Support and Program Rollout Support the Senior Advisors in administering the Import and Export Compliance SPOC network across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Business Units. Schedule recurring SPOC meetings, prepare materials, distribute program updates, and maintain the SPOC roster as business assignments change. Support delivery of trade compliance training to the SPOC community and to business stakeholders, and track training completion. Respond to routine SPOC questions on established policies and procedures, and refer substantive or novel questions to the Senior Advisors. Compliance Monitoring and Auditing Support functional audits by assisting with scoping, sample selection, evidence collection, and preparation of audit workpapers. Support broker and freight forwarder oversight activities. Review customs entries and export filings and identify discrepancies for follow-up by the Senior Advisors. Tracking, Remediation, and Reporting Maintain the tracking systems for audit findings, corrective actions, and remediation items, and drive open items to closure with assigned owners. Track entry changes, post summary corrections, and other post-entry activity through to completion. Monitor deadlines for filings, certifications, renewals, and periodic reporting, and prompt responsible parties in advance of due dates. Support preparation of CTPAT and other program documentation, including annual audit evidence collection. Documentation and Transaction Support Assemble supporting documentation for filings and responses to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including responses to CF-28 requests for information and CF-29 notices.
