Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Senior Production Scheduler. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. What you’ll do: Exhibits expertise in planning practices for production scheduling and execution and leads others to ensure customer orders are completed on time at the lowest possible cost. Manages and identifies areas for improvement in the following areas: planning/shop floor scheduling, tools, ERP SMART rules, shortage resolution, expedites, customer requests, manufacturing efficiency, and capacity management. Assists and supports management of all supply chain deliverables for new program development activity for the Jackson, MI plant. This role will assist NPD SCPM’s through coordination with procurement, design engineering, operations, supplier quality, manufacturing, and FED Supply Chain team. Essential Responsibilities: • Analyzes material requirements; plans and initiates schedules to support customer production schedule and plans; manages shop floor scheduling. • Manages work orders to ensure manufacturing has sufficient work at all times, communicates on overtime requirements • Expedites orders for customers where possible; expedites shortages with buyers; communicates updates to customer service and supply chain program managers • Ensures work orders for areas of responsibility are current, not past due, not in pick status for long periods of time • Support potential miss meetings to ensure on time completion of critical orders, be proactive with communication • For area of responsibility: monitors item parameters and settings in MRP system, minimizes past due sales dollars, quality issues, resolves supplier shortages, customer on-time delivery • Liaison between operations and SCMP’s to ensure supply chain program milestones are met as established by the customer and program management office • Create and manage hardware tracking sheets for key programs • Lead, facilitate, and/or participate in hardware delivery status meetings with customers • Collaborate with Network team on master scheduling process and schedule periodic review meetings encompassing new program items • Manage key process metrics for new program hardware builds such as on time to release, on time to cycle, and on time delivery • Participate in daily schedule/delivery reviews and own any associated action items • Attend daily shop floor Tier 2 meetings with operations/HPWT as point of contact for NPD • Attend recurring managed program meetings and act as an extended integrated program team member • Support supply chain functions related to product transitions between Jackson and all other Eaton sites • Supports plant continuous improvement teams Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor degree from an accredited institution Two (2)+ years of experience in supply chain One (1)+ year of experience in a production scheduling role in a manufacturing environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now and in the future This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
