Quality Engineering Director

As a Quality Engineering Director within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. Sets and governs the quality engineering strategy, ensuring aligment to enterprise priorities and comprehensive end to end testing across programs. Establishes and enforces standards and operating models for test execution and environment coordination, holding teams accountable for consistent execution and adherence to quality metrics. Serves as a subject matter expert to guide solution development Proactively identifies systemic risks, gaps and quality deficiencies and directs cross-functional resulution efforts by mobilizing Quality Engineering leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts. Owns enterprise quality performance, leveraging defect metrics, trend analysis, and post-production insights to set expectations, drive accountability, and continuously improve delivery outcomes. Leads the advancement of Quality Engineering practices by institutionalizing continuous improvement, embedding best practices, and driving adoption of modern testing methodologies across the organization. Reviews workforce and capability strategy for Quality Engineering, including resource planning, leadership development, and budget alignment, while fostering a high-performing organization and advancing adoption of emerging industry trends within deliery teams.
