Job Description
Pay: $23.95 Shift Differential: $2.00 Schedule: 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM; Monday - Friday Shift: Afternoon / Night Position Overview The Inspector/Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing bags to safely deliver the highest quality products at the best efficiency and lowest scrap possible using effective manufacturing methods. Follow all Key Operating Procedures, including but not limited to:
o Company and facility Policies o Safety – LTCT; use of proper PPE; adherence to all applicable safety rules o Quality – PQCT, Bag Specifications, Testing Frequencies and Procedures o SOPs – Methods for performing work o SSOP/Good Housekeeping standards (keep machines and area sanitized and clean) o Good Manufacturing Practices o Food/Safety Security o HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
Food Regulatory and Customer Specifications Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality Responsible for ensuring that box and tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines Assist and work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and technical resources to ensure that issues are being addressed to optimize the performance of the line. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements Communicate positively and respectfully to resolve all issues Complete all documentation accurately Other responsibilities and projects as assigned

Work Environment Manufacturing Plant. Climate-controlled. Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED. Experience in manufacturing preferred. Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Experience using pallet jacks and machine hoists is a plus. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office applications). Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
