Senior Full Stack Engineer

This role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for integrating and delivering production-grade AI, machine learning, and data capabilities at RTX. The position combines hands-on software engineering with system-level design, leading end-to-end development of scalable, cloud-based solutions that leverage LLMs, MLOps, and automation. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role balances near-term delivery with long-term platform strategy while mentoring engineers and promoting strong engineering best practices.

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js for front-end development and Python and node.js for back-end services. Build and deploy applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and successful solution delivery, aligned with agile principles of teamwork and transparency. Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, maintainability, and comprehensive documentation to support long-term development. Integrate APIs and microservices to support enterprise-grade applications. Work with SQL databases to design, query, and optimize data storage solutions. Implement best practices for version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and other DevOps tools. Leverage knowledge of AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to enhance application capabilities and workflows. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies. Work in a highly regulated, security-conscious environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience. Demonstrated proficiency in React.js, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Strong understanding of front-end development, including responsive design and modern JavaScript frameworks. Demonstrated knowledge of back-end development, including RESTful APIs and SQL database
