Full Stack Developer

This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve the digital platforms that support MassMutual's marketing, customer engagement, advisor experience, and business growth objectives. As a Full Stack Developer, you'll work across the entire application stack, designing and delivering modern, scalable web solutions using technologies such as React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes. You'll own features from concept to production, solving complex technical challenges while ensuring applications are secure, performant, reliable, and maintainable. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences that create measurable business value. This role requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to influence technical direction, lead complex initiatives, and drive engineering best practices. In addition to developing new capabilities, you'll mentor other developers, participate in architecture and code reviews, and help continuously improve our development processes, automation, and delivery pipelines. Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications Build and enhance scalable, responsive web applications that directly power potential customer- and advisor-facing digital experiences. 2. Lead the delivery of complex technical features and solutions Own the technical implementation of features from design through deployment, collaborating with product, design, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions that ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards. 3. Ensure application performance, reliability, and quality Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications by identifying performance bottlenecks, resolving defects, and implementing observability and monitoring solutions to help maintain a secure, reliable, and seamless experience for potential customers. 4. Champion engineering best practices and continuous delivery Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes to improve software quality and deployment efficiency to help the team deliver features faster, more consistently, and with greater confidence. 5. Mentor and support other developers Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to team members, help developers solve problems, estimate work, and grow their skills to grow a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. 6.
