Work you'll do As a Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer on the Industry Solutions team, you will be responsible for… Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure supporting the client, including self-managed and non-self-managed Red Hat OpenShift clusters Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab Runners to support automated build, test, and deployment activities Monitor platform health, performance, and security using observability and security tools, and address issues affecting reliability and availability Manage cloud services and components including AWS Batch, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Route 53, Amazon CloudFront, Application Load Balancer, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions Collaborate with development, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, maintain documentation, and support ongoing platform operations and enhancements A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments 1+ years of experience provisioning, deploying, and managing environments within AWS, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and application issues within AWS environments 1+ years of experience building, maintaining, and executing deployment scripts and supporting code releases across environments 1+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, GitLab Runners, and AWS services used in the role, including AWS Batch, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Route 53, Amazon CloudFront, Application Load Balancer, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
