Responsible for supporting the presses by mounting plates and staging appropriate die to expedite make-ready. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Mounts plates in the correct wind and on the appropriate cylinders. • Ensures each order has the correct press equipment for each station and is segregated and staged, and ensures cages are locked accordingly. • Assists press operators in troubleshooting plate issues. • Cleans and files plates after press runs according to standard operating procedures. • Conducts housekeeping of plate mounting area. • Follows established standard operating procedures. • Completes required documentation for each order. • Reviews cylinders and gears for damage. • Cleans general common areas as needed. • Other job duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be flexible and willing to work overtime. • Must have basic computer skills or be trainable. • Must have good mathematical skills. • Must have good written and communications skills. • Must be attentive to detail. • Must be able to manage time effectively. • Must be able to work well in a team.
