Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Literature Study : Review and compare recent AI- and LLM-based approaches for analog circuit sizing, optimization, and design-space exploration AI Method Development : Develop LLM-assisted methods for circuit topology understanding, result interpretation, device sizing, and design knowledge extraction Circuit Benchmarking : Validate own methods on analog circuit blocks and benchmark accuracy, robustness, and design effort against conventional and other LLM-based optimization methods Documentation and Presentation : Document your methods, implementation, benchmark results, and limitations, and present your ideas Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Study Field : Studying your master in Electrical or Computer Engineering Interests : Basic knowledge and interest in AI-based engineering workflows, especially large language models and agent-based methods for designing automation Work experience : Basic experience with analog circuit design, simulation, as well as interpretation of circuit performance results Knowledge : Understanding of analog circuit trade-offs, device sizing principles, and design-space exploration. Basic knowledge of numerical optimization methods for circuit optimization Skills : Familiarity with Cadence design tools and Python Availability : You are interested in a long-term commitment, starting with a working student position and ideally continuing with a master's thesis Language skills : Good English communication skills for documentation and presentation Please attach the following documents to your application: CV in English Certificate of enrollment at university Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months) High school report Important information: Working part-time : The focus is on studies. You must not be in a semester of leave.
