Associate Legal Counsel, Gulf Region Gartner is currently seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to provide commercial legal support to our business in the Gulf region. The role will support the review, drafting and negotiation of various types of contracts and commercial agreements, including framework and main service agreements, service orders and statements of work, non-disclosure agreements and related documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Legal & Compliance team, Sales and other internal stakeholders to provide practical, timely and commercially focused legal support, escalating complex or high-risk matters as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze and summarize framework and main service agreements, service orders, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements and other commercial contracts. Support the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, purchase orders and contract modifications, in accordance with Gartner’s policies and approval processes. Identify key legal and commercial risks and escalate complex, unusual or high-risk issues to senior members of the Legal & Compliance team. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual terms, standard processes and approval requirements. Support the resolution of accounts receivable issues and other contract-related business matters. Participate in discussions with clients, at the request of Sales or senior Legal team members, to clarify contractual positions and explore potential solutions. Maintain accurate records of contract reviews, negotiations, approvals and related legal matters. Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Operations and other internal stakeholders to support efficient contracting processes. Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, templates and guidance materials. When requested, provide support to other Legal & Compliance teams on regional matters, including corporate, privacy and compliance-related activities. Support the preparation and delivery of training or guidance sessions for internal teams, as appropriate.

Role
Qualifications Qualified attorney or lawyer authorized to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic. Approximately 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience supporting commercial and transactional legal matters, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment. Experience reviewing, drafting or negotiating commercial contracts and related documentation. Experience supporting Sales or other business teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to practical, commercially focused solutions. Strong time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Basic understanding of contract management processes and legal risk assessment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or contract
