The Automation Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise automation, AI, and agent-based solutions that improve business processes, productivity, and digital experiences. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, large language models (LLMs), and other AI-driven technologies, this role delivers scalable applications, workflows, integrations, copilots, and AI agents that drive operational efficiency and business value. The Automation Developer partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into secure, innovative solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance, and responsible AI practices. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert, providing design, development, advanced support, troubleshooting, and administration across automation and AI platforms, while continuously evaluating emerging technologies to accelerate automation, enhance employee experiences, and drive innovation.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support enterprise automation, AI, and agent-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Azure Foundry and related technologies. Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes. Build and maintain applications, workflows, copilots, AI agents, dashboards, and integrations across Microsoft 365 and connected enterprise systems. Administer and support Power Platform, Copilot, and AI environments, including governance, security, licensing, monitoring, consumption and adoption. Support user enablement, adoption, and training initiatives across automation and AI platforms Serve as the Tier 3 SME for automation and AI platforms, providing advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and technical guidance. Collaborate with security, compliance, architecture, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and responsible AI practices. Develop technical documentation, standards, and best practices to support solution delivery and operational support. Evaluate emerging AI, Copilot, and automation capabilities and recommend innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement. Contribute to incident response and capacity planning, assisting in high-priority outage resolutions and proactive maintenance activities. Continuously assess and automate critical service testing to ensure stability during patching and upgrades. Other responsibilities
