Sr Program Manager - Program Manager

Summary As Sr. Program Manager you will lead the cross functional team to deliver on all program(s) deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. You will own/influence business operating guidelines and budgets. High levels of commercial judgment are required to achieve required outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities Lead product development activity aligned with Edison Works strategic growth objectives. Execute current program and compete for and win the next phases of development. Accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Developing expertise across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical and/or program/project management leadership experience in aerospace or similar industries. Must be able to obtain a US Top Secret Government Security Clearance. Desired Characteristics Active US government Secret or Higher Security Clearance, preferred with AP approval Airframer Integration (Technical and Programmatic) experience Direct interaction with customers (Airframers and US Gov't) Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in a Systems Engineering or Program/Product Management role).Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across the matrix Ability to achieve business outcomes while maintaining compliance to security requirements Familiarity with military-unique advanced engine technologies Experience with GE NPI Tollgate and Military Qualification processes Direct people-leadership experience Program Management experience (EVM, IMS, Business Operations) Product Management experience (PCB, CCB, Safety PMT) Developing and negotiating proposals Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​ Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constr uctively​ Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​ Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​ Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
