Job Purpose To maximize and add value to the construction process by proactive involvement in quantity and cost management and reporting. To carry out monthly cost reviews on projects and forecast final forecast values for contract and project costs. Maximize value of monthly applications and measurement and submission of contract variations. Assist Contracts department in timely submission of final accounts to the client and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities · To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress/value of work done (VOWD) · Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts · Measure, value, submit contract variations · Ongoing quantity measurement and re-measurement activities and reporting · Strong working knowledge of project schedules and impact of activity duration changes and forecast completion dates · Assist Contracts department to prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts · Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level · Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with project timetable and deadlines · Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labour, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets adhered to.
