Job Title Software Engineer What does a successful Software Engineer do at Fiserv? As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs. This team supports Identity and Access Management solutions for merchant clients as a part of the greater Merchant Solutions tech organization at Fiserv.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities What you will need to have: 4+ years of experience in software development 3+ years of experience using Java, RESTful APIs, JDBC 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Based technologies with highly available and scalable architecture 3+ years of experience using framework such as Spring Boot or equivalent, Microservices Architecture 3+ years of experience using one or more Relational DB (MYSQL) 3+ year of experience in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git/GitLabs, Maven, Jenkins, etc Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience What would be great to have: Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira board process Financial services/Payments industry experience Experience with security implementations such as Voltage, Sonatype, Web Inspect, Fortify Important information about this role: This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity. This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered. All offers of employment are contingent on standard background checks. Salary Range $90,000.00 - $144,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
