 Job Description Are you a successful sales professional in the Infusion/Oncology space working closely with Pharmacist and Nurses? Do you have a track record of success converting key accounts? The Oncology Account Executive (AE) is a field-based role and is responsible for supporting and growing the BD Hazardous Drug Safety, Gravity and Non-dedicated Infusion and Port Accessories portfolios through strategic, solution-focused selling efforts. The AE will work closely with their Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales, and National Accounts teams to identify targets and to implement effective selling strategies to achieve and exceed their territory sales budget. This specialized role requires deep understanding of the pharmacy and oncology nursing spaces to advance HD safety, improve administration practice, and reduce patient risks. The AE must understand the importance of implementing existing national and local contracts by using pricing strategies to drive sales by working closely with National Accounts and Business Integrators as appropriate. They also work collaboratively with Infusion and Access teams to leverage relationships they have in areas of the hospital to support growth of the oncology portfolio. The Oncology AE handles customer relationships, supports existing business, and leads the conversion management process as they work with the clinical team. The territory for this position includes Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, NV, and El Paso, TX Additional Job Responsibilities Achieves the sales budget for the assigned territory. Demonstrates comprehensive product and clinical knowledge and competitive differentiation. Leads, develops and presents economic models for customers. Educates nurses, pharmacists, and others key stakeholders on safe handling of hazardous drugs and the use of BD products. Maintains existing business while focusing on growth opportunities. Effectively forecasts and reports sales through funnel accuracy. Manages within operational expense budget and sample budget. Manages and leads all customer relationships Apply DRIVE sales skills to resolve customer needs and deliver solutions. Works collaboratively with their Area Sales Manager and Clinical Sales Support to effectively implement a successful conversion management process Requirements Requires a BA or BS degree 3- 5 proven years of sales experience, or comparable experience outside of BD. Ability to travel >50% of the time Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills Demonstrates selling skills and a track record of success Additional Skills, Qualifications and Competencies Consultative sales approach in delivering solutions Strength in targeting and qualifying sales opportunities Evidenced proficiency in territory and account management Ability to present to all customer levels and internal staff clearly and effectively Understanding of oncology and the use of hazardous drugs across health care Understands the most up-to-date clinical studies to educate customers, shape the market, and improve ability to anticipate and handle objections Ability to identify market, industry and competitive trends and effectively communicate through the organization Communicate territory activities through timely submission of pipeline reports and other required reports.
