As an Engineering Associate at Jabil, you will play a vital role in advancing our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities encompass support Manufacturing Engineering assisting with controlled documentation, engineering change implementation, and product record maintenance. Accurately implement approved changes in PLM and related business systems, including Windchill, SAP, BabtecQ, and MES, to ensure manufacturing documentation, part master data, routings, inspection requirements, and system records remain accurate, complete, and aligned with approved change instructions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Provide day-to-day administrative and system support to Manufacturing Engineering by processing approved engineering changes, document updates, and product record revisions in PLM and supporting systems according to established procedures and effective dates. Maintain and update item master data, bills of material, document attributes, revision levels, routings, inspection plans, and related records in Windchill, SAP, BabtecQ, MES, and other applicable systems. Review change requests for completeness, required approvals, impacted documents, and clear implementation instructions before completing system updates. Coordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, including Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Document Control, to clarify change requirements and confirm accurate implementation across affected systems. Perform data entry and system transactions with a high level of accuracy, ensuring records are traceable, controlled, and compliant with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Support change effectiveness by verifying that released documents, product data, and system records reflect the approved configuration after implementation. Comply with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by your supervisor. Respect and follow all procedures within the company safety policy. Other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree preferred; or one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of experience supporting Manufacturing Engineering, document control, engineering change implementation, data entry, manufacturing documentation, quality systems, or related administrative support; experience using PLM, ERP, QMS, or MES systems preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage controlled documentation tasks while communicating clearly with cross-functional stakeholders. Working knowledge of controlled document processes and system-based change implementation preferred. Familiarity with Windchill, SAP, BabtecQ, MES, or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
