Job Title : GDS Alliances Investments Senior Analyst Job Span : All Alliances Investments Programs Function : GDS ES G&I - Alliances Skill Level: High Sub Function : Alliances Partner Ops CoE Job Summary: The GDS Alliance Market Development Funds Supervisor will function out of the RA CoE function within the GDS Alliances Delivery Center and will be responsible for providing ongoing Market Development Funds support for one or more alliances as part of the broader global Ecosystem Relationship Enablement function. The incumbent will provide INVESTMENTS support delivery model for a single Alliance or a combination of Alliances, ensuring seamless service delivery for ongoing initiatives and will also be responsible for executing special projects that are assigned from time to time. On successful deployment of the INVESTMENTS support model, the incumbent will administer the INVESTMENTSs for each designated Alliances in compliance with organizational mandates and policies. Essential Functions of the Job:
Track alliance investment activities and ensure the timely, accurate submission and reporting of claims for reimbursement through designated partner platforms, including e342Claims where applicable. Apply defined internal controls and maintain supporting documentation to ensure a robust, audit-ready process that meets internal and external audit requirements. Liaise with onshore Alliance BMC teams, Alliance Operations, Finance and alliance leaders to provide investment data, analysis and status updates. Review and refresh alliance investment reference materials, standard operating procedures and process documentation, and facilitate access through SharePoint and other approved tools. Support initiatives involving processes and tools provided by alliance partners, including access-request tracking, access-issue resolution and administration of alliance investment platforms. Reconcile alliance investment codes, claims and expense bookings to confirm completeness, accuracy and appropriate allocation. Maintain reports and dashboards for alliance leadership, including budget-versus-utilization analysis, forecasts, claim status and other key investment metrics. Work with the GDS Alliances Investments Ops Lead and relevant stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and appropriately cascaded. Ensure compliance with established tracking tools, workflows and approval mechanisms for alliance investments. Partner with onshore Alliance Operations contacts on strategic projects, process enhancements and ad hoc initiatives. Manage stakeholder expectations through clear plans, regular communication, timely escalation of risks and effective follow-through. Support internal EY Alliances leadership meetings by preparing investment-related content, insights and meeting materials and coordinating associated logistics when required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles, including experience working with high-value general ledger accounts, reconciliations and related reporting. Experience using finance systems, preferably in an SAP or Oracle environment; familiarity with Tally is an added advantage. The candidate should be comfortable interpreting and presenting financial data. Advanced proficiency in working with large, complex spreadsheets and datasets, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Practical experience in planning, budgeting and investment administration, including budget preparation, utilization tracking, controls, forecasting and management
