We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to manage the organization's fixed asset accounting processes, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, GST, TDS, customs regulations, and Indian accounting standards while maintaining accurate asset records and ensuring compliance with internal controls. What you’ll do

Fixed Asset Management Capitalize assets in accordance with accounting policies and applicable accounting standards. Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) ensuring completeness and accuracy. Review and process asset additions, transfers, retirements, disposals, and impairments. Calculate and record depreciation/amortization on a monthly basis. Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledgers with the general ledger. Support physical verification of assets and resolve discrepancies. Monitor CWIP (Capital Work-in-Progress) and facilitate timely capitalization. Ensure compliance with internal asset management and capitalization policies. Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare month-end and year-end fixed asset schedules and reconciliations. Support statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX/internal control requirements. Prepare month-end and year-end fixed asset schedules and reconciliations. Support statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX/internal control requirements. Prepare reports related to capital expenditure (CAPEX) and asset movements. Assist in financial close activities and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP requirements, as applicable. GST Compliance Review GST applicability on capital asset procurements. Verify GST input tax credit (ITC) eligibility on capital goods. Reconcile GST records with purchase registers and fixed asset records. Support GST audits and respond to tax authority queries.
