Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. You will be responsible for delivering anti-abuse solutions that increase trust and mitigate seller abuse on some of Google's most impactful products: Ads (for Advertisers) AdSense ( publishers), YouTube (creators), and Play (developers), Cloud, and others. You will collaborate with these products' anti-abuse teams to deeply understand their problems, identify the abuse vectors, develop solutions, and deploy relevant Payments Platform's capabilities. You will also be responsible for driving the integration of AI technologies and capabilities across the entire PayTrust team, identifying and implementing AI productivity multipliers on the personal, team, and group level. Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Manage a small group of product managers working closely with across various Product Areas, developing and articulating long term direction and strategy to understand short and long-term abuse challenges. Execute against your roadmaps and adjust them tactically as needed. Develop, articulate, and implement AI integration strategy across the group and in our product offering. Establish an impact measurement framework and key performance indicators and manage them and relevant Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Extend foundational capabilities of the platform through new challenges, identity verifications, and trust signals.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 5 years of experience in fraud and risk management, counter-abuse, trust and safety, or identity verification platforms. Experience leading internal product initiatives cross-functionally with engineering and senior level stakeholders. Preferred qualifications: Master's or other advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or another quantitative or analytical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working within the Payments Risk ecosystem or building identity verification solutions. Experience launching products based on machine learning. Exceptional communication skills, with a track record of building consensus among executive stakeholders regarding long-term organizational transformation strategy (e.g. digital transformation, AI). Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a proactive drive to understand complex system internals.
