KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Principal Product & Platform Engineer to join our Product organization.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable architecture standards and an AI-native prototyping framework that enables teams to move rapidly from product ideas to working prototypes
• Serve as the senior technical voice embedded within Product Management, connecting product evaluation with architecture, engineering, security, integration, and long-term platform health
• Create or guide prototypes for early product ideas, partnering with product management and client-facing leaders, that test technical feasibility and prevent one-off bespoke solutions
• Serve as the senior technical authority within Product Management, guiding architecture decisions, sharing leading practices, and coaching professionals across product and engineering teams

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required; or a minimum fifteen years of equivalent professional experience is required
• Strong hands-on development experience including authoring of the prototyping framework for the AI-native development cycle and delivery of Founder prototypes built from platform capabilities
• Deep expertise assessing and integrating existing systems across platform architecture, APIs, data and identity models, AI or agent frameworks, security, scalability, reliability, and technical debt, with experience creating reusable standards adopted across teams
• Ability to advise senior product, technology, and business leaders with a client-centric perspective, influence organizational priorities, and coach professionals without direct people-management responsibility
