Agency: Omd Job Function: Media Job Subfunction: Media Planning and Buying Job Description: Train and mentor juniors and manage their day-to-day workload Develop strategic media POV’s and hone your writing skills Develop creative media plans according to strategy, considering all potential media vehicles (Digital, Search, social, broadcast, print, OOO, etc.) Present media plans to client Ensure execution of plans Assume ownership of plan revisions due to budget or strategic changes Build solid relationship with buyers and account groups Assist Strategy Supervisor on client deliverables Liaise directly with clients Negotiate media rates with suppliers Use of OMD Design in strategy planning Broaden knowledge and understanding of partner agency disciplines Utilize all available (industry) media measurement tools Sound understanding of Media Research Tools (Omni) Participation in all relevant corporate training
