Job Title Senior Project Manager (Evergreen) Job Description Senior Project Manager-CT LCM Product Lifecycle Management (Post-Market Sustaining) Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing post-market sustaining and lifecycle management projects for complex medical devices. The role ensures successful delivery of projects in terms of scope, timeline, quality, cost, compliance, and resource allocation while collaborating with global stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Clinical, Marketing, and Service organizations. This position requires strong project management expertise, the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments, and excellent communication skills to drive alignment across global teams.
Your role
Lead post-market sustaining (LCM) projects and sub-projects for complex medical devices in accordance with agreed project scope, timelines, quality objectives, budget, and resource plans. Develop and maintain project charters, objectives, and execution plans in close partnership with System Project Managers and key stakeholders. Manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, resource allocation, schedule management, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved. Establish effective governance and communication mechanisms, including project reviews, steering committees, and stakeholder updates. Drive decision-making processes, assign and track actions, and proactively manage project dependencies. Identify project risks, assess severity and likelihood, implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues when necessary. Manage project budgets and monitor project expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Support product quality planning, sustaining engineering activities, product enhancements, obsolescence management, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Ensure project execution follows Philips development processes, quality requirements, and applicable medical device regulations. Facilitate collaboration among global stakeholders and resolve conflicts related to priorities, resources, and project objectives. Provide regular project status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation actions. Lead small to medium-sized project teams while influencing broader matrix organizations without direct authority. You're the right fit if: Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, product development, sustaining engineering, or lifecycle management, preferably within the medical device industry. Proven experience managing complex medical device projects involving hardware, software, systems engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions. Solid understanding of product development and post-market sustaining processes throughout the product lifecycle. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and multinational project teams in a matrix organization. Strong knowledge of risk management, project controls, and stakeholder management methodologies. Familiarity with medical device quality systems and regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, MDR, or equivalent is highly preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is a plus. Technical & Professional Skills Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
