Description du poste The Acoustic Engineer role supports the planning, design, and delivery of acoustic and noise control solutions for building and infrastructure projects. This role contributes to acoustic calculations, modeling, environmental noise and vibration assessments, architectural acoustics, and electroacoustic system design, while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to develop effective, compliant, and technically sound solutions. The position also supports the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, reports, and project deliverables within established schedules and budgets.

Perform acoustic calculations, modeling, and analysis for building and infrastructure projects. Perform environmental noise assessments, including noise propagation and noise mapping. Design and evaluate noise control solutions, including barriers, enclosures, silencers, and acoustic treatments. Perform vibration assessments and support vibration control and isolation solutions. Support architectural acoustics design, including sound isolation, façade, and room acoustics. Support Public Address (PA), Voice Evacuation, and electroacoustic system design. Review acoustic data, drawings, equipment information, and technical submittals. Prepare acoustic specifications, calculations, reports, and technical documentation. Coordinate acoustic requirements with multidisciplinary project teams and support project delivery within established schedules and budgets.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Acoustic Engineering / Sound Engineering. 2+ years of experience in acoustic and vibration engineering, including noise control, acoustic assessments, and technical documentation. Experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred. Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration with other departments. Proficiency in acoustic modeling and analysis software, such as INSUL, EASE, EASE Evac, CadnaA, SoundPLAN, SONArchitect, or equivalent tools. Knowledge of applicable acoustic and vibration regulations, standards, and project requirements. Proficiency in Revit. Ability to prepare and review acoustic calculations, reports, specifications, and technical deliverables. Proficiency in English (B2-C1 level required).
