Senior Risk Analyst – UK Risk & Compliance (Krakow) This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Krakow office! What the day will look like As a Senior Risk Analyst in the UK Risk & Compliance (UKR&C) team, you will transform risk data into meaningful information and insights that support the identification, assessment and management of risks across all Aon UK entities. These pan‑UK, second‑line role sits within the Global Law and Compliance function and is at the forefront of developing innovative risk analytics and visual reporting. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: Coordinating and managing processes to gather relevant risk data across UK entities (e.g. risk reporting, Control Environment Reporting, culture, conflicts of interest, conduct). Using statistical tools and techniques to analyse complex risk datasets, identify trends and patterns, and produce clear, actionable insights for Executive reports, the Board and its committees. Building strong relationships with Executive risk owners, Business Governance and Operations teams to deliver accurate, timely risk and governance reporting for UK governance committees. Supporting the communication, embedding and ongoing improvement of the enterprise risk management framework and its tools, ensuring they reflect standard process and changes in the internal/external environment. Supervising internal and external sources to identify emerging and “horizon” risks, coordinating with Risk & Compliance colleagues and subject‑matter experts to assess potential impacts on Aon. Owning and coordinating key reporting processes for Emerging / Horizon Risks, Incidents and Risk Appetite, ensuring high‑quality reports are produced on time for Executive bodies and the Board. Leading the day‑to‑day operation of the UK Policy Governance Framework, advising Policy Owners and Specialists so policies meet framework standards, are effective, and are properly governed (including ownership of PolicyPoint and the policy universe). Working collaboratively with other analytics teams across Aon to share best practice, align approaches and continually evolve the UKR&C analytics capability, building strong relationships across the global analytics community. Skills and experience that will lead to success Strong English skills (minimum B2+/C1, written and spoken), with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels. Solid foundation in statistics and hands‑on experience with statistical tools/software (e.g. Excel, SPSS, SAS) and data analysis languages such as SQL, Python or R, plus good understanding of data management and data privacy concepts.
