The Customer Sales Executive (CSE) for Walmart Grocery & Protein is responsible for profitably growing both Walmart’s and Hershey’s business by delivering against sales, market share, trade spend, and profitability objectives. This role serves as a strategic business partner to Walmart, leveraging insights, analytics, and category expertise to create customer-focused growth plans and drive mutually beneficial business outcomes.

The CSE will build and execute 1 to 3 year business plans, influence cross-functional partners, and develop winning customer strategies that advance Hershey’s iconic brands while delivering sustainable growth. What will you do?

1. Manage Specialized Client Portfolios or Workstreams This responsibility manages a defined set of accounts or client related workstreams that require advanced subject matter expertise. It regularly reviews performance, identifies emerging issues, and recommends targeted actions to the broader team. This ensures stable performance and supports steady growth within the portfolio or workstream. 2. Develop and Execute Targeted Account Growth Actions This responsibility translates account strategies into specific growth activities such as cross sell efforts, program rollouts, or tailored promotions. It coordinates with sales, marketing, and operations to implement these actions and monitors results against targets. This work delivers measurable gains in revenue, share, or profitability for assigned accounts. 3. Resolve Difficult Client Issues Within Area of Specialization This responsibility handles client issues that are complex within its specialty, such as recurring service challenges, commercial disputes, or implementation gaps. It analyzes information, evaluates options, and recommends practical solutions that balance client needs and company policies.
