Job Description
Responsibilities: Perform automation testing activities, such as: • Code automated test for Web applications • Code automated test for API • Build automated testing framework • Setup and configure a continuous testing process • Ensure the quality of testing for all delivered developments and upgrades • Liaise closely with all relevant parties to fully understand the functionality to be tested • Provide accurate estimates for all work as required • Provide sufficient detail to development to facilitate the optimal resolution of bugs and provide any further assistance required • Effective prioritization and meeting of deadlines • Continuous improvement mindset to drive for more automation Requirements: • Junior: 0-2 years of experience as a developer/QA-automated tester • Experienced: 2-6 years of experience working as an automated tester (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted). First understanding of automation is desired • Senior: > 6years of experience working as a QA/automated tester (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted). Good understanding of development processes associated with an understanding of automation in testing. Work experience in Finance, banking or insurance industry is preferred. • Bachelor's or master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted. • Certification (ITIL is a +) • Proven experience as a QA Automated Tester or similar role. • Knowledge in Gherkin/Cucumber and as well Selenium • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java (preferably) or optionally Angular/Cobol. • Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks. • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. • Experience with performance and load testing tools. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools.
